Small marbles, each with its own details and associations, become a collection of tiny worlds. Their intimate scale invites close attention, while memory and reverie allow those small details to expand into something much larger within us. The title draws on Gaston Bachelard’s idea of “intimate immensity”—the way contemplation can open a sense of vastness within the mind.
